CivCore uses a Stamina system to incentivize cooperation. The stamina bar has a max of 100 stamina. Actions such as breaking blocks, placing blocks, hitting entities, and fishing all cost stamina. Stamina regenerates very slowly at +0.5 stamina per second. Once the stamina bar is depleted, any further stamina cost hits the hunger bar instead.

| Action | Cost |
|---|---|
| Breaking Stone | 3 |
| Placing Wooden Planks | 1 |
| Hitting an entity | 10 |
Y-Level changes
Stamina cost increases as player's Y-level gets lower or higher. Mining deep underground will cost more stamina then mining near the surface. This also works as the player goes higher, meaning that building bases high in the sky will cost much more stamina, and eventually food once players begin trading food for time.
Water Buckets
When a player has a water bucket in their inventory, they are effected with slowness. Jumping with a water bucket, placing water, picking up water, and throwing the water bucket all cost stamina.
Players cannot enter boats or ride horses with water buckets in their inventory. Players however can ride minecarts.
Defensive Blocks
Certain blocks cost a lot of stamina to break and place. These blocks are for players to use to protect sensitive areas such as storage rooms or prisons.
| Blocks | Break Cost / Place Cost |
|---|---|
| Obsidian | 50 / 20 |
| Bricks | 50 / 20 |
| Mud Bricks | 50 / 20 |
| Smooth Stone | 50 / 20 |
