Stamina cost increases as player's Y-level gets lower or higher. Mining deep underground will cost more stamina then mining near the surface. This also works as the player goes higher, meaning that building bases high in the sky will cost much more stamina, and eventually food once players begin trading food for time.

CivCore uses a Stamina system to incentivize cooperation. The stamina bar has a max of 100 stamina. Actions such as breaking blocks, placing blocks, hitting entities, and fishing all cost stamina. Stamina regenerates very slowly at +0.5 stamina per second. Once the stamina bar is depleted, any further stamina cost hits the hunger bar instead.

This is the stamina bar at full stamina
