Civilisation Mechanics

Animal Breeding

Animal breeding requires more crops per animal and animals take twice as long to breed again, requiring a minimum cooldown of 10 minutes after breeding

Crop Growth

Crop Growth is three times slower than vanilla due to reduced random tick speed. Additionally, crops, aside from mushrooms and glowberries, cannot grow if sky-light is blocked (except by glass and similar blocks).

Crops are also region-locked and can only be grown in the correct biomes

Bucket Changes

Water buckets require stamina to pick up, drop, fill, and empty. A full bucket will also reduce your speed and use stamina to jump.

Buckets cannot pick up or place lava. Powder snow and milk buckets are unchanged.

Stack Size

Maximum stack size is limited to 16 for food items, and 3 for firework rockets

Fish Bait

Fishing will only return junk items unless the player has fish bait.

Fish bait is crafted from raw meat, and will guarantee the player catches a fish instead of junk.

Tabulated fishing weights for junk and bait items:

Regional Crops

Each crop may only grow in certain biomes. Each biome is limited to growing 1-2 different types of crops

Bonemeal does not work to bypass the regional crop limit

Crops may grow naturally in their respective biome

Mobs

Mobs have the same AI as vanilla, but may not pick up items and deal increased melee damage

However, mobs do not drop items when killed. They are strictly obstacles for the player
