Civilisation Mechanics

Animal Breeding

Animal Breeding requires more crops per animal and animals take twice as long to breed again, requiring a minimum cooldown of 10 minutes after breeding

Crop Growth

Crop Growth is three times slower than vanilla due to reduced random tick speed. Additionally, crops, aside from mushrooms and glowberries, cannot grow if sky-light is blocked (except by glass and similar blocks).

Crops are also region-locked and can only be grown in the correct biomes.

Bucket Changes

Water buckets require stamina to pick up, drop, fill, and empty. A full bucket will also reduce your speed and use stamina to jump.

Buckets cannot pick up or place lava. Powder snow and milk buckets are unchanged.

Stack Size

Maximum stack size is limited to 16 for food items, and 3 for firework rockets

Fishing

Fishing will now return only junk items unless using bait, crafted from meat.

Mobs

Mobs have the same AI as vanilla but deal increased melee damage. Mobs are unable to pick up items and also will not drop items when killed.
