Crop Growth
Random tick speed is a third of vanilla, so all plants grow at a third of the speed Most plants cannot grow underground. This is measured by sky-light level, so anything blocking sky-light access (except certain blocks that don’t, like glass) will prevent crops underneath from growing. Bonemeal does not work to bypass the sky-light limit, however, Mushrooms, glowberries, and vines can grow underground.
Regional Crops
Every crop type may only grow in certain biomes. Each biome is limited to growing 1-2 different types of crops Bonemeal does not work to bypass the regional crop limit Crops can be found growing naturally in their respective biome.
